While numerous methods and materials exist for creating room dividers, fabric is one of the more popular choices, especially for small to medium-size rooms. Rod-pocket or decorative wooden cafe rods, already finished or painted to match your decor , make an easy and inexpensive hanging system. Using these rod types makes it easy to open up the divider and close it off again. Hanging fabric room dividers with a rod-pocket or wooden poles also makes it easy to customize the length of the hanging area as opposed to wall-to-wall installation.
