Shipping and Delivery
Orders placed at homefabricsonline.com are typically delivered within 3-5 business days.
Please note:
- Orders are typically scheduled for shipping within 1 business day following confirmation of payment.
- Orders may only be shipped within the contiguous 48 states, USA.
- Orders are shipped via United Parcel Service (UPS) Ground Service insured.
- UPS does not deliver to PO Box addresses. Standard street addresses are required for delivery.
Shipping is included on Most Rugs!*
*Oversized rugs (lengths of 9ft or longer and/or weighing more than 150lbs) are shipped via common-carrier freight and include a shipping surcharge. The shipping surcharge is included in the cost of the item and varies between $150 and $200.
Shipping charge are added to each order. Shipping charge calculations are based on the order’s subtotal, less the subtotal of any area rugs purchased on the same order. Shipping charges are referenced on the following chart:

Due to their extended lengths, each curtain rod purchased will incur a shipping surcharge of $6.50.
Other charges which may be added to orders
- Sales tax calculations (where applicable) are based on the subtotal of the items purchased, exclusive of any shipping charges. Applicable sales tax will be added to all orders where the shipping address in located within the geographical boundaries of any State in the USA where we also maintain a physical store location. A listing of current store locations may be found by clicking the Locations link from any page at homefabricsonline.com or by entering homefabricsonline.com/locations directly into any web browser.
- Shipping charge calculations are based on the subtotal of the items purchased, exclusive of any sales tax.
Returns
All returns require a Return Authorization Number (RA#) and must be pre-authorized within 14 days from the date of delivery.
To obtain pre-authorization and a RA#, please follow these instructions:
- Click here to send an email to returns@homefabricsonline.com requesting a RA# and pre-authorization. In the body of the email, include the following information:
- Order Number
- Order Date
- Item’s SKU (from the packing list received with your order)
- Quantity to be returned
- Reason for return
-Your Name and a daytime contact phone number
We will review the order and once verified, will send a return pre-authorization and RA# by email (please allow 1 business day). The return pre-authorization will include full packaging, labeling and shipping instructions. Please be aware of the following:
- Returns received without a valid RA# may incur a restocking fee.
- The RA# number must be located on the outside of all packages and be clearly visible.
- Returns received without a valid RA# will be refused and any re-delivery fees will be the responsibility of the sender.
- Shipping fees for items being returned are the responsibility of the sender and are non-refundable unless an error was made during order fulfillment by HomeFabrics & Rugs.
- Cut-to-order products (e.g. fabrics, trims and special order items) may not be returned unless an error was made during order fulfillment by HomeFabrics and Rugs.
- Rug pads/cushions that have been opened may not be returned for credit.
- Returned items must be in new condition and original packaging.
- Damaged, altered or tampered items may not be returned.
- Clearance, personalized, custom-made and sample items are not returnable unless pre-existing damage or a defect exists or an error was made during order fulfillment by HomeFabrics and Rugs.
Although not required, we highly recommend insuring any items being returned for their full purchase price in the event of loss or damage in transit. Any claims for loss or damage are the responsibility of the sender and their chosen shipper. HomeFabrics & Rugs can not be held responsible for lost or damaged parcels.
