Quantities available for purchase:
While we strive to maintain as accurate of an inventory count on our items as possible, please keep in mind that we service all of our retail locations AND our website from the same warehouses and distribution centers. Consequently, we are unable to guarantee that the quantity ordered of any particular item will be available once the order is received by our warehouse.
In the event that we are unable to process your order in full, we will contact you and give you the option of a similar product as a replacement to the one ordered, or we will issue you a refund for the products that can not be fulfilled.

Samples and minimum purchases:
We appreciate the amount of time you've spent on our website to find the perfect product for your home decorating project, however due to increased product procurement and shipping costs, we are no longer able to send samples of our products at no cost. Effective March 1, 2011, the minimum yardage cut for any fabric or trim item is 1 yard. The prices shown at the time of your order will be clearly visible, and upon check out, you will be informed of the total amount which will be charged to your credit card, including shipping costs.

Discounts to the trade:
At this time, we do not offer discounts to the trade for purchases made at homefabricsonline.com.

Tax exempt purchases:
At this time, we do not offer exemptions on a taxable products for purchases made at homefabricsonline.com. We will collect the appropriate sales taxes on all purchases made where we are required to collect sales tax. No exceptions.

Returns and Exchanges
All returns require a Return Authorization Number (RA#) and must be pre-authorized within 14 days from the date of delivery.
To obtain pre-authorization and a RA#, please follow these instructions:

In the body of the email, include the following information:
Order Number, Order Date, Item’s SKU (from the packing list received with your order),
Quantity to be returned, Reason for return, Your Name and a daytime contact phone number
We will review the order and once verified, will send a return pre-authorization and RA# by email (please allow 1 business day). The return pre-authorization will include full packaging, labeling and shipping instructions. Please be aware of the following:

Returns received without a valid RA# may incur a restocking fee.

The RA# number must be located on the outside of all packages and be clearly visible.

Returns received without a valid RA# will be refused and any re-delivery fees will be the responsibility of the sender.

Shipping fees for items being returned are the responsibility of the sender and are non-refundable unless an error was made during order fulfillment by HomeFabrics & Rugs.

Cut-to-order products (e.g. fabrics, trims and special order items) may not be returned unless an error was made during order fulfillment by HomeFabrics and Rugs.

Rug pads/cushions that have been opened may not be returned for credit.

Returned items must be in new condition and original packaging.

Damaged, altered or tampered items may not be returned.

Clearance, personalized, custom-made and sample items are not returnable unless pre-existing damage or a defect exists or an error was made during order fulfillment by HomeFabrics and Rugs.

All sales are final on pillows, pillow forms, foam, batting, bedding and sale items.
Although not required, we highly recommend insuring any items being returned for their full purchase price in the event of loss or damage in transit. Any claims for loss or damage are the responsibility of the sender and their chosen shipper. HomeFabrics & Rugs can not be held responsible for lost or damaged parcels.
What is "Compare at"?

It may also include a reasonable average estimated shipping cost, if ordinary shipping costs have been discounted or eliminated.
We make no representation that the products have been sold or offered at the "Compare at" price, and the price may or may not reflect the average or prevailing market price in any area on any particular day. For some items listed as a set, the "Compare at" price may be an aggregate of the suggested or estimated prices for all items included in the set. Actual retail sales in your area may substantially differ from the "Compare at" price. Moreover, the nature of internet sales on a national or international basis, and the fact that we deal in overstocks, closeouts, end-of-season, and unique items that may be sold only on Overstock.com, precludes our ability to know whether our products are sold at the "Compare at" price at any particular location or time by other vendors.
You may choose to use the "Compare at" price as an approximate guide to what you would or could pay for these items in other locations, at other times, or under other conditions, including full retail price.
