Below is a list of upcoming workshops which will be hosted by our store in Mesa. For EACH workshop you wish to attend, click the button to the right of the workshop's date; a web page will be opened for you to provide the necessary information to request registration for the workshop.

Unless otherwise shown, all of these workshops are being offered at no charge,
however each workshop is restricted to the number of participants shown.

All participants will also have the opportunity to spend time with our experienced staff design consultants!

Fabric Covered Photo Album Workshop and Q&A Session

Date: Saturday, February 4, 12pm

Covering a photo album with fabric is an easy and inexpensive way to update your old albums or personalize new ones. There is no sewing involved which makes it a great craft for the whole family to get involved. You can even embellish the cover with appliques, beads, and silk flowers.

These thoughtful, inexpensive keepsakes are easy to make and personalize for any friend or family member!

Learn to sew a ''Fabric Bible Book Cover'' or other favorite book / journal

Fabric Handbag Workshop and Q&A Session

Date: Saturday, February 11, 12pm

Fabric handbags can hold just about anything and can be made in any size you need. They can have a zipper closed top or a simple drawstring. They can be plain and simple or as fancy as your imagination can make them.

Rebecca* will demonstrate how to make one of kind handbags that your friends will be in awe of.

Drapery Workshop and Q&A Session

Date: Saturday, February 18, 12pm

Talk about drama. There's nothing like a gorgeous set of draperies sweeping the floor to set a design tone in your home. Like wallpaper and ladylike dresses, drapes and curtains are back in a big way because of their ability to add glamour to any room, effortlessly.

Add a finishing touch, change the look of your window with the seasons or whenever the mood strikes with drapery panels. Soften harsh edges with soft floaty fabrics. Invite spring and summer by flanking existing window coverings with sheer gauzy draperies. Switch to heavier fabrics in fall and winter to add a layer of insulation around windows. Dazzle your holiday guests by framing your windows with shimmering fabrics.

Cyndy* from Sew Chic will be demostrating how to construct a basic drapery panel.

Box Cushion Workshop and Q&A Session

Date: Saturday, February 25, 12pm

A box cushion is a type of upholstered pillow added to benches, window seats, chairs and other hard surfaces, as well as sofas, loveseats and futons, to make sitting more comfortable. Box cushions can add color and atmosphere to a room and they are so easy to make that they are ideal for the sewing beginner.

Sandy* from Sew Posh will be demostrating how to construct a box cushion.

Grommet Installation Workshop and Q&A Session

Date: Saturday, March 3, 12pm

So you've bought the curtain material and the grommets, but are at a loss when it comes to installing them. With the proper tools, a basic grommet installation kit (available at most local hardware stores) and some proper instructions, you should be in good shape.

Join us for this workshop to learn how to effectively use grommets to add exciting details to your favorite furniture or drapery using your particular style -- and save money doing it. The process is quick and easy!

We will be teaching you the basics on grommet installation.
