Below is a list of upcoming workshops which will be hosted by our store in Orlando. For EACH workshop you wish to attend, click the button to the right of the workshop's date; a web page will be opened for you to provide the necessary information to request registration for the workshop.

Unless otherwise shown, all of these workshops are being offered at no charge,
however each workshop is restricted to the number of participants shown.

All participants will also have the opportunity to spend time with our experienced staff design consultants!

Fabric Room Divider Workshop and Q&A Session

Date: Saturday, September 11, 1pm

Room dividers are great for breaking up large areas of space and for creating a sense of privacy. While numerous methods and materials exist for creating room dividers, fabric is one of the more popular choices, especially for small to medium-size rooms. Rod-pocket or decorative wooden cafe rods, already finished or painted to match your decor, make an easy and inexpensive hanging system. Using these rod types makes it easy to open up the divider and close it off again. Hanging fabric room dividers with a rod-pocket or wooden poles also makes it easy to customize the length of the hanging area as opposed to wall-to-wall installation.

Headboard Workshop and Q&A Session

Date: Saturday, September 25, 1pm

Making your own custom designed and fabricated headboard can bring lots of personality to a bedroom. Less expensive than most purchased headboards, a fabric-covered style also provides softness and a comfortable resting place for reading.

Though creating a custom headboard will require some basic know-how and tools, you'll be surprised how easy it is to make.

Come join us and we'll show you how to design and create a unique upholstered headboard that can be used on any bed!

Halloween Costumes for Kids Workshop and Q&A Session

Date: Saturday, October 9, 1pm

If you think it takes a lot of time and money to make a great Halloween costume, think again. Many costumes can be made with materials you already have or that you can get easily and inexpensively. There are easy to make costumes that will have your child looking fantastic on Halloween.

You can even make store-bought costumes personal by adding special enhancements!

Ottoman Workshop and Q&A Session

Date: Saturday, October 23, 1pm

Ottomans are both attractive and useful, but the more they're used the less attractive they get. Buying a new one can be expensive, but that's not your only option. You don't have to be an accomplished seamstress to recover an ottoman.

Learn how to change the look and feel of your favorite furniture with by reupholstering an ottoman -- and save money doing it!

Dining Table Decorating Workshop and Q&A Session

Date: Saturday, November 6, 1pm

Whether you're decorating the table as a part of everyday decor or for a special party, you can use a myriad of things to make table decorations both unique and lovely.

Make Your Own Holiday Gifts Demonstration and Q&A Session

Date: Saturday, November 20, 1pm

Make your gift-giving personal this year with easy and beautiful handmade gifts. We'll show you how to give a lot of style with a little money. Take that extra fabric you already have and transform it into pillows, closet organizers, aprons, embellished towels, totes and more. You'll wow your friends and family and spare your wallet ... you can even use fabric as gift wrap!

Lamp Shades Workshop and Q&A Session

Date: Saturday, December 4, 1pm

If you're tired of the same plain, boring lampshades, then all is not lost. Spice up basic lampshades with some everyday materials and crafts store finds. All you needs is a little imagination and the techniques we'll show you to brighten up the look of any room.
